There are few original ideas in medicine but when I recorded this interview I was stuck by the concept and his commitment. Dr Gordon MacDonald is a family doctor in Glasgow. In this interview he talks about the importance of caring for older people. The title is a play on the name given to GPs who work in deprived areas – known as The Deep End. As we age we all approach the “Far End” of life.
